Space House is a sensitively located grade 2 listed building which is undergoing refurbishment and limited extension to revitalise this landmark building. Once completed it will ultimately allow people to work and socialise in and around this outstanding piece of 20th Century Architecture long into the future.
Apex Structures were chosen for this nearly 400-ton mixture of structural support steelwork, new steel extension floors, incorporating metal deck flooring with safety hand-railing. This project is split over two buildings and spread over all levels with an intricate basement build installing sub floors. In addition, a variation of a double storey link bridge was added to the Apex scope of works after the main works were awarded.
