This Art Deco, Grade II listed building, built in the 1930’s, overlooking the River Len in the centre of Maidstone sees Apex Steel Structures securing the structural steel and associated metal decking for this project. This is a prime location, and the redevelopment of the old showrooms and manufacturing facility will see, upon completion, a high-quality development of some 160 apartments with a ground floor restaurant, associated parking with complementing landscaping and open spaces along the river frontage. Apex installed large 914 beams to support the proposed two storey glass enclosed apartments projecting above the existing roof slab.
