This secure handling facility at London Stansted Airport sees FedEx increasing their presence and capacity to cater for the changing needs of the distribution market. This complements the deployment of new Boeing 777F “green” aircraft now based at Stansted. Apex Structures were chosen for this 200+ ton mixture of structural support steelwork, flooring (both solid & open grid), handrails, ladders, staircases and walkways. This will house new conveyors, sorting/ scanning and distribution equipment when completed. All this sits within a fully covered warehouse.
