HEALTH & SAFETY
It is the policy of Apex Steel Structures that operations performed by the company conform both with Apex Steel Structures’ Health and Safety Policy and the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. Changes to legislation are continuously monitored and our systems amended where appropriate to maintain and improve a safe and healthy environment.
While the Managing Director of Apex Steel Structures has ultimate responsibility for the Health and Safety Policy it is recognised that Health and Safety at work is the responsibility of each and every individual associated with the company.
The company ensures all erectors are CITB Certified and are a CSCS (Construction Skills Certificate Scheme) carded workforces’.
ERECTION
Apex Steel Structures employ a highly experienced and skilled
workforces who are fully trained in Health and Safety best
practice. Before the company begin their own site work a
Method Statement is developed which includes a detailed
description of how the work is to be carried out, together with
the necessary Risk Assessments. All erectors are fully informed
and committed to the Method Statement before they work on site.
